Nei Gong Practice

The Engine of Change

Nei Gong (內功) is the art of inner cultivation, a structured path to transforming the body, energy system, and mind.

The Furnace

At the heart of all internal work sits the Lower Dan Tian. It acts like a furnace where the raw materials of your practice: gravity, breath and attention, are refined into a stable inner centre.

Without a functional Dan Tian, deeper alchemical work is not possible. It is the engine that drives the entire system, drawing the mind inward and giving your practice a battery and source of fuel for transformation and change.

Structure & Channel Opening

Before energy can mobilize, the channels must be prepared. We work to open the body, releasing chronic tension and aligning the skeletal structure to conduct force efficiently.

But it's not really about posture; it is about creating a clear path for the Qi to sink and circulate. When the structure is correct, the body becomes a conduit and an efficient workshop rather than an obstacle.

The Process

Nei Gong is a clearly defined process of transformation. Each of these aspects of the training is explored in great depth with explicit methods, goals, and outcomes that should arise from proper study and practice:

  • Locating and awakening the energy body
  • Building the Dan Tian as a stable center
  • Opening the channels to mobilize the Qi
  • Refining the mind and spirit (Shen)
